Why the 15% Edge Matters

While wheat and Jowar (Sorghum) might look similar on a standard nutritional label, they perform very differently inside your body.

  • Steady Energy, No Crashes: Jowar is packed with resistant starch. This slows digestion of carbohydrates, providing a "slow-release" energy stream that prevents the mid-afternoon sugar crash common with refined flours.
  • The Antioxidant Boost: By adding Jowar, we introduce unique plant compounds—polyphenols and tannins—that aren't found in wheat alone. It’s a simple way to get more "superfood" benefits into every meal.
  • A "Complete" Protein Profile: No single grain has it all. Wheat is naturally low in the essential amino acid Lysine. Jowar helps fill that gap, making the protein in your flour more bio-available and useful for your body.

You might notice trace amounts of Sodium (typically around 4mg to 5mg per 100g) on our nutritional charts. We never add salt.
